The EuroSprinter is a demonstrator locomotive by Siemens and Krauss-
Maffei, based on the S252 delivered to RENFE. It is owned by the
manufacturers, but being tested in regular DBAG trains. I have seen it
in Stuttgart. The new class 152 II for freight trains will be based on
the EuroSprinter design.
