Baden 904, Arztwagen (medical car) built 1909 by Waggonfabrik Gotha. Part of a rescue train as they used to be based at important station to ensure quick help in case of an accident. Three axles, platforms on both ends with enlarged doors to allow patients on stretcher to be brought inside. Inside it had a small doctor's office and a room for eight patients on berths. It was illuminated by gas lights. DB used it as a kitchen car for track construction crews, today it is used as a stationary staff canteen. Kandern, 2019-06-23. |

Baden 912, Mannschaftswagen (crew car) built 1909 by Waggonfabrik Gotha. Part of a rescue train as they used to be based at important station to ensure quick help in case of an accident. Three axles, platforms on both ends with enlarged doors to allow patients on stretcher to be brought inside. Inside it had a small office and space for the rescue crew which could be used to move additional patients in case of greater disaster. It was illuminated by gas lights. First number was "Breslau 2365", fourth class, from 1906 "Breslau 3604", from 1931 "Breslau 89786", from 1938 work car "Oppeln 726876", from 1949 Kassel-Naumburger Eisenbahn No. 36, used there until 1964. Baggage/post car PwPost 82, built 1894 by van der Zypen & Charlier for Krozingen-Staufen-Sulzburg. The brown half is for baggage, the green part for mail with a place for a postman to sort letters.
