The upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(ABS 4)
seen from the eastern end of the southern platform at Köln-Ehrenfeld on 29
June 2002. At the moment there are two tracks for passenger trains and a single
track for freight trains at the very left. Between them two new tracks were
built. In the background the ramp leading to the bridge for the S-Bahn (urban
trains) is visible.

The upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(ABS 4)
seen from the eastern end of the northern platform at Köln-Ehrenfeld on 21
July 2002. In the middle is the new track 4. In the background it runs to the
north (left) at this time. This is the reason why the tracks 5 and 6 (left)
join. Track 3 on the right side of track 4 is still under construction.
