Oberweißbacher Bergbahn station Lichtenhain a d Bergbahn Western entrance of the Oberweißbacher Bergbahn mountain station. It is also terminus of the adhesion railway connecting the funicular with Cursdorf. Due to the limited space available, the station building was built into the mountain. Oberweißbacher Bergbahn platform car, Lichtenhain a d Bergbahn Platform car of the Oberweißbacher Bergbahn in the mountain station. The Bergbahn has two cars to transport passengers: this standard car on a tilting platform and a 'staircase' car that is normally found at funiculars. The tilting platform depictured can also be used to transport freight cars up to the mountain station where they can be shunted to the adjacent adhesion railway by using a turntable. Exit from the Oberweißbacher Bergbahn to the railway line Lichtenhain -
Cursdorf. The Bergbahn is able to transport standard gauge railway coaches.
The turntable is used to switch between the Bergbahn and the platform where
the trains to Cursdorf start. 08/02/1997.

The turntable at the end of the Oberweißbacher Bergbahn in
Obstfelderschmiede. This turntable forms the connection between the standard
gauge line Rottenbach-Katzhütte (to the left) and the Bergbahn. The
Bergbahn is able to transport standard gauge railway cars. 08/02/1997.
