One of the greatest railway bridges in Germany is the bridge near Muengsten
across the valley of the Wupper river. The non electric line connects the cities
Solingen and Remscheid. More than hundred years ago the the work at this
building, which is over 500 meters long and more than 100 meters above the river,
began.

A DMU probably of the type 628 crosses the Muengstener Bridge. It nearly
sounds like an aircraft when a train rolls over the iron constuction in a
height of 100 meters.

The Muengstener Bridge is a famous sight for fans of railway and architecture.
Several restaurants and snack bars exist from the tuorists who visit the
bridge and the narrow valley of the Wupper river.
