A U bahn train crosses the Spree at Oberbaumbrucke, Berlin. 31 May, 2008 D h Thomas thomdh@hotmail.com |
Reflections of Young British Rail Enthusiasts on Berlin Rail Transport
A tarty-arty photograph of an U-bahn (Berlin's underground system) train approaching Bülowstraße U-bahnhöf. These trains, we did not think are as pleasant as those on the London Underground. The ride quality was a bit rough and nearly every window had been "scratchitied". They also seem to be slower than the underground, though that could be because the tunnels are not as narrow.
