Gleisdreieck ("track triangle") is the name of a metro station
in Berlin, named after its original track configuration from
1902 to 1912. Since 1912 this is a crossing station of lines U1
and U2 (before, U1 and U2 used the same track between here and
Zoologischer Garten). Between 1984 and 1991 this section of the
U2 was used by the experimental M-Bahn. A3E-type train with No.
485 at the front coming into the station on line U2 (eastwards).
