103 245-7 with a special train of EETC coaches (Utrecht - Wien -
Ljubljana) at Bruck an der Mur, Austria. This locomotive used to
come regularly to Wien on the Westbahn, but it might be the first
time that a 103 comes to Styria. On this train it runs from Venlo
to Spielfeld-Strass.
This is a locomotive of the "long" subseries (with extended cabs), in mid-1990s appearance (with single-arm pantographs since the mid-1970s, ivory/red/black livery as built, DBAG logos as applied since 1993, buffer streamlining that was removed in the last years on most 103s, skirts under buffers already removed in the early 1980s). 2006-04-02 |
| DB 103 245-7 (Henschel/Siemens 1974). The last built of its class, in 1997 it was decided to keep it as a museum locomotive so it was repainted in its original livery. In 2013 it received another overhaul and repaint. After replacing the worn out wheel rims in 2019 it has been brought to Koblenz-Lützel, it is still operational. One of a few locomotives still with the original streamlined covers at the buffers. 2020-10-03. |

One of the fast electric locomotives of the BR 103 from the German Railway, the
103 245-7 in old design, with an Intercity is now driving into the main station of
Koblenz. The 103 245 is the last built locomotive of the BR 103.
(01/02/98) Eine Elektrolokomotive der Baureihe 103, die 103 245-7 in alter Farbgebung (rot/beige mit schwarzem Rahmen), fährt gerade mit einem Intercity in den Hbf Koblenz ein. Die 103 245 ist die zuletzt gebaute Lokomotive der BR 103, die von 1971 bis 1974 mit 145 Serienloks beschafft wurde. Sie und wurde 1974 von Henschel (31792) gebaut.
