Arguably, DB #103 113-7 represents the most beautiful type of electric locomotives ever conceived. It is an elegant, streamlined machine, with gentle curves and just the right proportions. When I made this photo in December 1996 in Nurnberg, Germany, I was late  - the powers-that-be had already placed that hideous new DB logo on all the locomotive's sides.
