DB electric locomotive class 103 #170, Frankfurt (Main) Hbf
DB 103 170 seen in front of Frankfurt main station. Put into service 14 October 1971 and seen with Orientrot livery since 10 November 1989. Photo taken in 1996 from train entering the main station. In March 2001, it was the front runner of all 51 still operating 103 engines with a monthly capacity of 31071 km. Premature shutdown because of worn tires. 110 339 brought it on 9 March 2002 as RbZ 69515 141 082 + 141 151 + 103 147 + 103 170 from Frankfurt/M to Opladen for getting scrapped.
