Inside the cab of an ICE1. Nearly everything is controlled by computers. Every power car has two displays, one for the current head and one for the power car at the end of the train. The photo was taken on the route from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe to Würzburg Hbf in June 1995.

The cab of an ICE1. All necessary information are shown twice: conventionally and in a bord computer, called DAVID. Every power car has two displays, one for the current and one for the power car at the end of the train. This picture shows the current speed on the speedometer and on the display on the route Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe-Würzburg: 275 km/h.
