On many lines into the VRR (Verkehrsverbund Rhein Ruhr) the class 422 was taken out of service, supposed caused by software problems. So many services are done with old rolling stock like class 143 with x-cars again. And other DB-divisions lend further vehicles. In this way on 1<sup>st</sup> of May 2011 could be observed 423 046-2 in Dortmund Hbf. Commonly the class 423 does not reach the Eastern part of Ruhr-area.<br>
