First day of regular operations by class 1440.
1440 308 and 1440 318 serviced line S8 while entering Wuppertal-Barmen on 14th of December 2014.
Class 1440 replaces class 422 on lines S8 and S5 in Northrhine-Westphalia. But it is a riddle how it should work: Class 422 has four cars with 12 doors, class 1440 only three coaches with five doors. So it is no wonder that most trains on that lines was delayed today - on Sunday!
