185 289-6 enters the overtaking station Dorsfeld (on Cologne-Aachen) with a
westbound freight train on 15 February 2008. The entrance signals can be seen in
the background, the loco just passes the five-field backbone span which also
acts as section break between the station and the adjacent line. The switch of
this break (which is of course closed) is located on the catenary pole in the
foreground (at the upper edge of the picture). The pylons far in the background
carry the 110 kV power line to the traction substation at Sindorf, where this
high voltage is transformed to 15 kV to feed the catenary.
