Class 146 in Mainz Hbf, the new faster version (160 km/h) of
class 145 for regional trains. Photo taken from an ICE on the
other track - sorry, I didn't want to go too far from my train
during a 2-minute stop. 2001-06-08.

The station at Horrem on the upgraded line Cologne-Düren
(ABS 4)
seen from the bridge at the eastern end on 9 November 2002. The tracks 1 and 2
for the S-Bahn (urban trains) on the left seem to be more or less finished. RE
10023 (departing towards Cologne) just left the platform area at track 3 and
entered track 4. Above it RE 10014 towards Aachen is visible, stopping in track
6.
