DB 111 001-4 (Krauss-Maffei/Siemens 1975). Class 111 is developed
from class 110 with new bogies (that allow a speed of 160 km/h),
a new standard cab that has been used in all locomotives since
and an improved ventilation concept. While a number of class 111
locomotives remain in service, this one was taken out of regular
use in 2013 and is preserved as a museum locomotive in the state
as built.
