DB diesel shunter class 323 #462, Gera Railway Depot Historic Deutsche Bundesbahn diesel shunter 323 462 exhibited during open-door day of Geraer Eisenbahnwelten at the former Gera Railway Depot. Built by O&K (serial number 20971) and put into service 13 December 1938. Originally numbered Kö 4926, it got its DB number depictured in 1968. Put out of DB service 31 December 1979, it served Raiffeisen-Warengenossenschaft eG, Leese from 1980. Small Diesel shunter 323 208-9 of the DB, ex Koef II. These once
numerous shunters, whose beginnings date back to pre-war times, are
rapidly put out of service now, but some still perform small services,
such as the one in the picture, which is shunting around the wagon hall
of Karlsruhe's maintenance shop.

The small Diesel shunter Koef 4737 beyond the roundhouse of the former raildepot,
and todays railmuseum of the DGEG, in Bochum-Dahlhausen. This shunter was built
1937 by Jung (5682) for the former Deutsche Reichsbahn and was used, since 1968 as
323 482, by the DB until 1981.
(25/05/85) Die Kleinlok Koef 4737 vor dem Ringlokschuppen des ehemaligen Betriebswerkes, und heutigen DGEG-Museums, in Bochum-Dahlhausen. Diese Kleinlok wurde 1937 von der Fa Jung, mit der Fabriknummer 5682, fuer die Deutsche Reichsbahn gebaut. 1981 wurde sie, seit 1968 als 323 482 bezeichnet, von der DB ausgemustert. The historic shunter 323 351-7 of the DB is used in the depot of Linz/Rhein. Owner of both, the shunter
and the depot, is the Eifelbahn VG in Linz/Rhein. In the background there is 78 468. This steam locomotive
was repaired in this depot.
Die Kleinlok der Leistungsgruppe II 323 351-7 gehoert zum Fahrzeugbestand der Eifelbahnverkehrsgesllschaft. Nach Beendigung der Rangierarbeiten wurde sie vor dem Lokschuppen des Betriebswerkes Linz/Rhein der Eifelbahn VG abgestellt. Department of Materials-Handling and Rail Vehicles (Institut für
Fördertechnik und Schienenfahrzeuge) of the
Aachen University of Technology
(RWTH). Here it is standing in the hall on 11 July 2001.
