DB AG diesel locomotive 213 337-9 in front of RB 14954 (Schleusingen - Meiningen). The end of the train is formed by 228 767-0 and another Bn 447.1 car. The class 213, formerly of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, is a variant of the class 212 additionally equipped with a hydrodynamic brake and therefore suited for steep grades. Since 1995, these locomotives have their home depot at Meiningen and are used for push-pull trains in the Thuringian Forest, especially on the line Ilmenau - Rennsteig - Schleusingen.
