Railbus 772 007-1 in Pirna, 2001-02-16, before departure to Neustadt (Sachsen).
It was planned to operate these trains with new class 642 DMUs (Desiro), but
for now those are replacing locomotive-hauled trains on the line Dresden-Neustadt
- Königsbrück and will from end of March on be used on the new airport line. The
passenger loads on the rural line Pirna - Neustadt (Sachsen) are low enough for a
single 772 or 772+972 train anyway, so it's probably cheapest to keep them.

Pirna, track 4, 2001-04-07: RB 17934 to Neustadt (Sachsen), consisting
of the 772 015-4 with trailer 972 015-9. As you can see on the signal
behind the train, the speed limitation on the bridge over the Elbe is
50 km/h.

Near the depot of Pirna, I found a small diesel locomotive
of DGT (Deutsche Gleis- und Tiefbau) and a DBAG class 772
railbus. 2001-07-08.
