On the 1st class end, the coupler door was open. The carbodies are almost the same as for the electric class 411 and 415, except that instead of a pantograph, the end cars have braking resistors on the roof, and the bogies are of type SF 600 by Siemens-SGP (instead of the Fiat Pendolino bogie).
