DBAG - Germany The Kurhessenbahn network (operated by DBAG) has recently received new diesel trainsets type GTW2/6 from Stadler in Switzerland. Here one of these sets is seen in Korbach Süd, the current terminal station on the line from Kassel. There are plans to reopen the line up to Frankenberg such that a through service to Marburg will be possible. Korbach Süd, 11/12/2004

DMU 946 712 of DBAG. It is the same type like used by KNE. Different from most other units of this type by DBAG is the inscription "Kurhessenbahn" (there are a few more). It is a hint of the region in which this unit operates. Kurhessen is the traditionally name of the northern part of Hesse (Cassel's dictonary from 1949 translates it as "Electorate of Hesse". Be not sur if it is helpfull today.) Kassel main-station on 5th of June 2003.
