643 201-7 leaves Eschweiler-Weisweiler as RB 8922 to Heerlen on 12
September 2004. At Stolberg Hbf it will be coupled to RB 8972
which comes from Stolberg-Altstadt. It was the second day the
reactivated branch line from Stolberg Hbf to
Eschweiler-Weisweiler was in service.

9580 0 643 202-4 D-DB with a special livery is parked
at Aachen Hbf on 23 June 2010. The sketch on the windows shows the
euregiobahn line from Heerlen to Düren, the slogans over the windows state
"Samen de toekomst in!" and "Gemeinsam in die Zukunft!" ("Together into the
future!").

643 203-2 and 643 206-9 are passing the power station of Weisweiler as
inaugural train on the new line Langerwehe-Weisweiler, running towards
Langerwehe on 10 June 2009. This new section connects the eastern end of the
branch line Stolberg-Weisweiler to the main line Cologne-Aachen.

643 203-3 is the trailing unit of RB 11565 (Herzogenrath-Stolberg), departing
from the new station Aachen Schanz on 15 June 2004. This unit is one of those
that were equipped with a first class compartment to operate in areas where
trains with only second class are not accepted. I guess that the only things
which seperate the first class from the second are the labels and maybe a door
between them. The leading unit is 643 221-5, it has no first class.

643 205-8 is waiting at Stolberg Hbf as RB 11572 (Stolberg-Altstadt -
Alsdorf-Annapark) on 3 July 2006. The second unit forms RB 11522
(Eschweiler-Weisweiler - Alsdorf-Annapark), they were coupled together in the
freight area of Stolberg Hbf. The driver of the second unit is about to board
the first unit to accompany his colleague for the way to Aachen-Rothe Erde
(where he will change for the opposite train). In December 2005, the services
formerly ending at Herzogenrath-August-Schmidt-Platz were extended to
Alsdorf-Annapark.

643 209-0 arrives at Kohlscheid (on Aachen-Mönchengladbach) as second unit
of RB 11567 (Herzogenrath-Stolberg) on 1 April 2003. The leading unit is 643
216-5, still without the euregiobahn livery.
