DB DMU 642 141, Meißen DB diesel railcar 642 141 after arriving at Meißen on its way from Döbeln. Due to track works west of Döbeln this train ran in a different way than on other days and was numbered RB 93384 Döbeln–Meißen (departue at Döbeln 20:02, arrival at Meißen 21:13, with a 24 minute stop (!) at Miltitz-Roitzschen for train crossing). All sidings at Meißen have been removed, so the train have to push back on the other Elbe bank for overnight parking. Photo taken Saturday 5 July 2014. Due to track works west of Döbeln this train ran in a different way than on other days and was numbered RB 93384 Döbeln–Meißen (departue at Nossen 20:24, arrival at Meißen 21:13, with a 24 minute stop (!) at Miltitz-Roitzschen for train crossing). DB DMU 642 643, Bautzen DB diesel railcar 642 643 reaching Bautzen from Dresden Hbf. Behind unknown class 642 unit. Scheduled arrival time was 15:35. Class 642 units are mainly used on branch lines and regional lines. They were manufactured by Siemens under the brand 'Desiro' since 1999/2000 and have a maximum speed of 120 km/h.
