RE 4181: Aschaffenburg Hbf 06:44, Lauda 09:06/09:13, Crailsheim 10:28. Built by Duewag and put into service 2 August 2001. Housed at Nürnberg West and operated from Aschaffenburg. Class 642 units are mainly used on branch lines and regional lines. They were manufactured by Siemens under the brand 'Desiro' since 1999/2000 and have a maximum speed of 120 km/h.
