Eher selten sind im Allgäu Lokomotiven der Baureihe 218 der ersten Serie. 218-124 bildet hier die Ausnahme mit dem RE 21232 von München nach Lindau.
An diesem wunderschönen Frühlingstag durcheilt sie die Landschaft bei Schwabhausen an der KBS 970 kurz hinter Geltendorf bei km 46,4.
