DB 51 80 89-92 530-0 WG4üe826 (Wegmann 1938). Originally an eight-compartment sleeping-car for government trains with a breakfast room. It went directly to the DB. In 1953 it was converted to a dancing car including a music room and train guard's office. In 1960 the ends were rebuilt to match modern passenger cars. In the 1970s new bogies MD 34 were installed and converted for 200 km/h in 1979. It was used together with the "Blauer Enzian" cars and is now exhibited together with them. DB 51 80 89-92 530-0 WG4üe826 (Wegmann 1938). A bit difficult to research the history with numerous conversions and number changes. Koblenz-Lützel, 2020-10-03. |
DB 51 80 89-92 530-0 WG4üe826 (Wegmann 1938). Not sure whether this style of writing DEUTSCHE BUNDESBAHN was accurate in any era. Koblenz-Lützel, 2020-10-03. |
