Restaurant car Mitropa 1048, type WR4ü-28, built 1929 by
Wegmann & Co. in Kassel. All steel body with riveted
underframe. In service until 1969, used from 1972 as a bistro
in the garden of Deutsches Museum, it was recently overhauled
externally, the interior will be reconstructed later.

Rennsteig Bf. (Eisenach landkreis, Thuringen)
A weekend touristic service from Erfurt to Ilmenau and Rennsteig (Rennsteig shuttle) has been resumed in June 2014. Modern diesel units of Erfurtbahn/Sudthuringerbahn climb the steep (up to 6.1%) track with stops at Ilmenau bad, Manebach, Stutzerbach; historical trains are also on schedule.
