Historic freight wagon OOt Oldenburg 574. These were among the first
self-unloading wagons for transporting coal and ore. Similar cars are
still in service today.

A historic ballast car of 1896, standing in front of the Talbot works in Aachen
as a monument, seen on 26 May 2003. These ballast cars with the possibility of
unloading either to the side or between the rails were built by Talbot since
1891. Today Talbot belongs to the canadian Bombardier group.

The sign in front of the historic ballast car at the Talbot works, seen on 26
May 2003. It says that these cars were built since 1891 and that this one is
from 1896. These cars with several unloading possibilitys helped Talbot to
become famous. Additionally some technical details are given on the sign.

Old self-unloading car for bulk goods in front of the Bombardier factory
(ex Talbot) in Aachen. As far as I know, they are not building freight
cars there any more.
