Some people working on a damaged car seen at Aachen West on 1 August 2007. This end of the car rests on a auxiliary bogie, as far as I know they had to replace the supporting material between the car and the bogie to make the whole thing fit into the loading gauge. The hydraulic jacks are unfortunately not visible in the picture, but one can see the rack with the control levers on the left and the hydraulic power unit (powered by a combustion engine) on the right. The red car in the background is the tool car in which these devices are stored when not in use. The loco is V 107 of the Rurtalbahn.
