Bruenigbahn2.jpg - Train Interlaken Ost - Luzern climbing from Meiringen to Bruenig-Hasliberg. This part of the Bruenig line (which is the only narrow gauge line in SBB network) is equipped with Riegenbach rack sistem.

Originally the legroom was very limited, with the modernization two rows of seats were eliminated, so the seats don't match the windows any more. With their automatic couplers (including pneumatic connection for the compressed air brake), electric power cable and control cable for doors and push-pull trains, they look considerably less cluttered than mgb/RhB rolling stock. Note the red/white end of train signal, something that has been eliminated by a number of other narrow gauge lines but is still used on the zb. Interlaken Ost, 2011-09-30. |
