On April 8th 1987 a RhB-train was forced to stop in a tunnel between Bergün and Preda: An avalanche has come down at the exit of the tunnel yust in front of the locomotive (Ge 4/4 II). Am 08. April 1987 mußte ein Zug der RhB vor dem Tunnelausgang halten, da eine kurz zuvor niedergegangene Lawine, den Tunnelausgang versperrte. Die auf der Lok stationierten Schneeschippen wurden verteilt. Nachdem das Lichtraumprofil frei geräumt war, konnte die Fahrt fortgesetzt werden. Photo by Peter Wlasak
