Bärentritt Bridge View of the very small (10 m) Bärentritt Bridge located immediately between two tunnels on the Davos Platz–Filisur line running along the Zügen Gorge between Davos-Monstein and Wiesen. It is very difficult to photograph a train at this tight spot. Photo taken Saturday 21 June 2003. Photo: Steffen Mokosch (Steffen.Mokosch@web.de) |

Rhaetische Bahn (RhB) train with panorama cars is heading to St. Moritz from Chur, Switzerland. On this line there are more than 50 tunnels. This one is the longest, and is very fascinating how the train enters in the tunnel on a stone made bridge over the deep abyss.

Wiesen Viaduct with Ge 6/6 II passenger train Unknown Ge 6/6 II passing the Wiesen Viaduct towards Davos in the evening hours of Saturday 21 June 2003. This bridge spans the Landwasser River southwest of the hamlet of Wiesen. Designed by the then chief engineer of the Rhaetian Railway, Henning Friedrich, it was built between 1906 and 1909 under the supervision of another engineer, Hans Studer. The Rhaetian Railway still owns and uses it today. An important element of the Davos–Filisur railway, the viaduct is 88 metres (289 ft) high, 204 metres (669 ft) long, and has a main span of 55 metres (180 ft).
