RhB diesel shunter class Tmf 2/2 #86, Scuol-Tarasp RhB Tmf 2/2 86 equipped with radio control seen at Scuol-Tarasp. Between 1991 and 1994, six of them with the numbers Tmf 2/2 85 to 90 were acquired from RACO. The drive including the Cummins diesel engines were taken over from the Tm 2/2 81 to 84 due to good experiences. Attention was paid that many components were consistent with the Gmf 4/4 built the same time, which were purchased for the construction of Vereinatunnel. Accordingly, they are designed that two engins can replace one Gmf 4/4. The aim of these tractors was to replace the older Tm 2/2 15 to 26 at major train stations. Also they had to carry lighter work trains. The machines have a top speed of 50 km/h and develop an hourly output of 205 kW at 25 km/h. They weigh 24 tons and are 7490 mm long.
