RhB diesel electric locomotive class Gmf 4/4 #242, Klosters RhB Gmf 4/4 242 seen at the Klosters-Platz station. It is one of two engines put into service in 1991 and housed at Landquart. The locomotives are best suited for hauling loads at low speed over long distances. The locomotive is 60 km/h in maximum, has a weight of 50 tonnes and a power output of 350 kW at 20 km/h. Rhätische Bahn - Switzerland The two diesel locomotives of class Gmf4/4 are mostly used for work trains. In the picture you can see nr. 243 stabled in Klosters. Viafier retica (RhB) 241 in Untervaz on 13th of June 2005. This unique loco on RhB-tracks was built by MaK (type G 480 B'B'? sorry, I am not sure) and rebuilt by RhB itself.
