wab131ks1.jpg (99549 bytes)

BDhe 4/8 EMU 131 of the Wengernalpbahn descends from Kleine Scheidegg to Wengernalp on 20 March 2002, coupled with another BDhe 4/8 EMU and a trailer. I think this is one of the longest trains to be seen at this railway. It is only operated on the Lauterbrunnen side and would not fit into the station at Grindelwald.

One of the longest trains of the Wengernalpbahn, consisting of two BDhe 4/8 EMUs and a trailer, is climbing up from Wengen to Allmend on 18 March 2002. Trains like this are only to be seen on the Lauterbrunnen side of the network, they would not fit into the station at Grindelwald. The picture was taken from a train waiting in the siding at Allmend.

wab_plow_gr1.jpg (125016 bytes)

BDhe 4/8 EMU 134 of the Wengernalpbahn just left the station Grund and crossed the Schwarze Lütschine on it's way to Kleine Scheidegg on 22 March 2002. It was a windy day with a lot of snow blown around in the higher areas, so a snow plow was added.
