JB Unit 6 from 1904, Depot Kleine Scheidegg. Photo by Richard List (rili@listig.at) |
He 2/2 locomotive 8 of the Jungfraubahn, equipped as a rotary snow plow, is
parked at Eigergletscher on 20 March 2002. As the line above this station is
completely inside the long tunnel, it is only needed on the line down to Kleine
Scheidegg, so it makes sense that the rotary unit is facing downhill. For
reverse operation a snow plow is coupled to the loco.
