Krastets_station_2. The engine crew takes a well-earned break after all their hard work – especially the two firemen!  They told us that in steam days over the line, the average freight train was headed by two Class 16, 2-10-0, with a third, pushing. Conditions on the footplates of the second and third engines, passing through the many tunnels, were described as Hellish! 4 October 2016
