The first Bulgarian locomotive of the type "2 in 1" which can move onto tracks and road , is among exhibits at the International Technical Fair in Plovdiv during September 2011 year. It was designed by specialists of the Ruse Company "Express Service", the sole producer of locomotives country.Besides the classic qualities of this type of machine, the new model will have the characteristics of electric. Such two-way trains are not known in Bulgaria, but are widespread not only in Europe , but all over the world.This locomotive will save time because it quickly move from one track to another through road. Moreover, it can be used to tow trailers with cargo through workshops , warehouses and harbors. The company "Express Service" design two types of such machines - a maneuverable capacity of 200 and 600 tons. They are all-electric powered 2 asynchronous traction motor and large battery.The first locomotive is ready in September 2011 year and will exhibit at the Plovdiv Fair.You can see him on these photos.The main features are: standard gauge 1435 mm , engines: 2XAC induction / asynchronous , power: 18-40 KW , shunting capacity: 200-600 t , speed: 5-20 km/h. , brakes: electromagnetic and recuperative.An operative option is a radio remote control and 2 steering axle.
