This are the remains of once, very well developed freight terminal at the former vegetable market in city of Plovdiv, (Bulgaria). It was situated at the northern part of the city, very close to Filipovo Railway Station. The former tracks are long ago pulled away and only the crossbars remained, hardly covered with blackberry bushes. Somewhere along the way, some iron rails are still on their place, but with thick layer of concrete poured over them. Since 1989th, the gradual decline in the export of fruit and vegetables and the crisis in the agricultural sector led to a reduction of railway services and their gradual replacement by road transportation. The former warehouses are now used by various companies.

These are the few remains of the deaf junction between line 1 and line 8 in Plovdiv.
Once this was a strategic military facility, now it it only an interesting part of the street view.

For more than decades, there has no any train movement here. These tracks are part of the former ring railway, that was situated at the southern part of the city of Plovdiv. Their main use was for industrial freights, but many parts of them are now just cut out and scrapped.

Once strategic “military’’ facility, now it is just an original detail of the street landscape.
