BDZ has a serie of 79 electrical multiple units of class 32. The units were built between 1973 and 1978 by Riga. They are used in suburbs an local trains over the whole electrified network. On the 2nd may 1997 unit 32.146-3 + 323.46-9 + 323.45-1 + 32.145-5 on a Sofia - Plovdiv regional train is awaiting for overtaking by an express train in Septemvri station.
