Locomotive 61-006-3 in the Poduene depot in Sofia. Locomotives of class 61 are not very common in Bulgaria and this has gained them the attention of railway fans. Manufactured by Skoda, these multi-purpose electric locomotives are used for shunting duties, rotation freight service in some factories and on short passenger routes. Behind 61-006-3 is its more conventional sibling 44-076-8 - again from the Skoda factory in Plzen but a much more common sight in Bulgaria. 3 April 2004.
