Locomotive 46 208.5 with the early morning fast train from Sofia to Burgas via Karlovo. This is the only fast train serviced by the formidable class 46 locomotives. In fact, passenger traffic is not a very habitual area for them, but being the most powerful locomotives of BDZ they haul the heaviest freight trains in Bulgaria. On the photo 46 208.5 will shortly leave the Iskar railway station in Sofia on 21 December 2004.
