For a break from the norm on 21 August 2004 the express "Slanchev Briag" (Burgas-Sofia) was hauled by a unmodernised class 46 locomotive. The task is usually performed by the Koncar-rennovated 46's such as 46 242.4. The locomotive in the picture is 46 125.3 and it wears a fresh bright variation of the white-blue livery, characteristic of the original Romanian machines in Bulgaria. Picture taken in Yambol.
