The railway freight terminal of the port of Burgas hosts some of the heaviest freight trains in Bulgaria which transport coal and iron ore from the port mainly to the Kremikovtsi metal plant near Sofia. On 29 August 2005 locomotive 46 039.4 was spotted in front of one of these circa-2000-tonne trains. It's a shame that you cannot see what's behind this six-axle giant - 32 Eaos cars fully loaded with heaps of coal and ready to depart for Sofia any moment.
