Diesel locomotive 55-110-1 of BDZ. This locomotive is used for shunting duties in the station of Yambol. Usually these include rearranging cars within a freight train or moving freight cars to one of the different yards in the station to be loaded with coal or scrap metal and then returning them so that they can be picked up by a freight train passing through Yambol. First working day of 2004 and already there is a long freight train in the staion to be taken care of. 55-110-1 pulled away the last few cars of the train as their places had to be rearranged, then the wagons were attached to the train again. 5 January 2004 Photo and scan by Miroslav Georgiev (Miroslav_SG@all.bg)
