FINALLY!!: After a whole summer of anticipation a train from Elhovo appears at Yambol. The regular passenger trains between Yambol and Elhovo were stopped in 2002 and from then on the fate of the line has been quite grim. At least the railroad is still in place, but the only trains passing are short freight affairs done once or twice a month. You can probably understand how lucky I felt when one of these trains appeared from the direction of Elhovo on 8 September 2005. A modest set-up of three cars hauled by diesel locomotive 55 027.7.
