Due to a severe motive power shortage, Greek State Railways (OSE) has rented
some locomotives from Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) since the summer of 2003.

A BDZ class 07 "Ludmilla" 07.35 pulls a freight train from Volos to Thessaloniki over
the Axios river bridge. The left bridge was built in 1945 and was the first to
be decommissioned from traffic (today, there's a new reinforced concrete bridge
nearly 500m left from the photographer's vantage point).
