Outside the Brussels Central Station. The tracks are all underground. Brussels Central is very close to Grande Place/Groote Markt and the St. Hubert shopping passage.

Inside the Brussels Central Station, viewing the stairway from the ticket hall to the tracks. The tracks are all underground. Brussels Central is very close to Grande Place/Groote Markt and the St. Hubert shopping passage. If you go to the right-hand side of the picture, there is a passageway to Grande Place.

Inside the Brussels Central Station, next to the elevator that goes to the station platform for line 1A and 1B. Elevators are still not as plentiful in Brussels as they could be. Many stations do not have downward escalators, so it is most commonplace to take the stairs down to the platform instead.
