Class 16 (1603) just passed Drongen (line 50a) with
a Koeln-Ostend train and is heading for Brugge on 16/08/1998.

1603 runs through Sindorf (on Cologne-Aachen) with D 419 (Oostende-Cologne) on
5 September 2001. The first car is a cab car, but it is not used as such since
this old loco cannot be controlled from a cab car. Normally, the front
pantograph would have to be used, but the class 16 locos have only one
pantograph for each type of catenary (DC, narrow AC, wide AC).

1604 is waiting at Aachen Hbf with D 419 (Oostende-Cologne) on 12 December
2002, two days before the end of regular service of the class 16. While the
catenary is switched from 3 kV DC to 15 kV AC, all pantographs are lowered.

(NMBS/SNCB) has just arrived at the main station of Cologne with the Oostende-Cologne EuroCity.
At the right side of the same platform you could see the ICE 3 to Amsterdam.

NMBS 1604 arives at Brussels South with a delay of 20 minutes. This is the international railway station of the city.
The traincars come from Moskva Belorusskaja and are on the way for about 40 hours.

NMBS 1605 with EN 249 JAN KIEPURA to Warzawa Wschodnya in Brussels Midi on 16 May 2004. Only the station of BruMi exists. Class 16 are out of service and the JAN KIEPURA changed its route to Frankfurt (Main)--Cologne-Warsaw after the Belgians quintupled the trace prices for foreign night trains.
