Until recently, the EuroCity trains `Vauban' and `Iris' between
Brussels and Switzerland had quite old dining-cars.
These were rebuilt in 1955 by Breda from older cars (built since
1927) damaged in the second world war. These cars, CIWL No. 4265
to 4269, were overhauled in 1985/1986, with a renewed (old-style)
interior and air conditioning, and repainted in orange to match
the Eurofima cars. A few years ago, they were replaced by ex-SNCF
Gril-Express cars and SBB CFF FFS dining-cars in these trains.
